* Repent for your actions and responses.
* Know that you HAVE been forgiven (Ezek 18:21, Is 43:25, heb 10:17)
* Bind Satan's power of grief and nail it to the cross,
* Command the spirit of grief, sorrow and mourning to loose its hold in the name of Jesus and flee from you.
* Cleanse and cover yourself by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:7)
* Receive the healing power of Jesus into the area of grief, loss and sorrow (especially if the grief is the root cause of any
sickness, disease or pain)
* Resist ANY feelings of grief, sorrow or loss (1 John 1:7, Rom 9:33, Rom 8: 1-2) or anything that speaks contrary to the
Word of god concerning your life.
* Take God's Medicine by Beginning to declare and proclaim your healing and what God says about you in His Word.
Long periods of grief are under the curse of the law. We are redeemed from going through long periods of grief.
Deut 28: 29-34 (The longing for a lost one)
Gal 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is everyone who is
hung on a tree.
Jesus has redeemed us; He has reversed the curse! We have been TOTALLY REMOVED from confusion. It has already been
done!
Turn your grief into Joy.
Grief means: hard to bear, to groan, to sigh, mourning, anguish, suffering, an inward unexpressed feeling of sorrow, sorely troubled,
heavy burden, weight or heaviness.
Grief is a deep sorrow, and emotional mental pain which is generally brought about through tragedy, calamity, and the loss of a loved
one, financial failure, marriage failure, distress for loss of or on account of, sorrow and distress for a thing done, or left undone or lost.
Grief is best released and expressed through the soul, allowing the emotions to express the sorrow in the form of sobbing, crying,
weeping. It is important that grief is expressed through a period of mourning as this releases the emotional pain. To hold back the
tears, to appear brave, to have a lack of emotion, generally means the grief is then locked away in a persons soul and tried to be
forgotten. However, grief expressed is way may begin to manifest through a physical affliction or disability. It could eventually
incapacitate a person with Arthritis, degenerative of bones & joints, lack of strength, anger, frustration ....
Refer to Psalm 31:9-10
Do what the Word of God says to do, and you will find changes in the way you see yourself. Make a decision to take off and throw away
your old clothes and the things of the past and begin to put on your garments of Salvation along with a robe of righteousness, the full
armour of God and the garment that is expressed of praise!
Begin to build up your spirit, and you will find that you will not allow your emotions, or feelings to govern your life. You will no longer be
tossed around riding a roller coaster on your emotions and feelings. As the power in the Word of God strengthens you, it will continue to
hold you, it will continue to hold you up when you feelings and emotions begin to let you down!
